It’s a bold statement to make but we believe in better outcomes for children and young people, allied with job satisfaction for our team of dedicated social workers.
In this role you will be approachable and visible, encouraging and use your experience and knowledge to guide your team.
Through effective line management, reflective supervision, and team collaboration, you will drive a culture of relational practice which involves children, young people, and their families.
You will ensure that children, young people, their families, and people who are important to them are valued and are central to all decision making.
You will work closely with the other team managers in the service and support senior managers.

Within the Family Safeguarding Service, the teams hold Child in Need, Child Protection, and cases in the Court arena; therefore, the successful applicant should have a clear knowledge of threshold and experience within PLO and the legal framework.
