Through effective line management, reflective supervision, and team collaboration, you will foster a culture of relational practice involving children, young people, and their families.

You will ensure that children, young people, their families, and those important to them are valued and central to all decision-making.

You will work closely with other team managers and support senior managers.

All about You
  • You have current registration with Social Work England.
  • You are diligent and detail-oriented.
  • You are experienced, willing to learn, and committed to your professional development.
  • You can travel between locations.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of legal and policy frameworks guiding social work in Children’s Social Care.
  • You have prior experience managing a team.

Within the Family Safeguarding Service, teams handle Child in Need, Child Protection, and court cases. The successful applicant should have knowledge of thresholds and experience with PLO and legal frameworks.
