As a Team Manager you will assist in delivering Turning Point’s Substance use strategy within a Multi-disciplinary service which reflects our person centred values and the high levels of ambition we have both for the recovery of the individuals for whom we provide support and the development of our own staff.

As a Team Manager we offer a starting salary of £37,265 + £3,633 IWL rising each year in line with our pay progression salary bands, rising to £43,594 + £3,633 ILW per year. (Dependent on experience you may be offered a starting salary above the initial starting salary).

Role Responsibility

  • Contribute to the effective planning of excellent person-centred care and support plans throughout the hub that meet the needs of clients in accordance with the recovery agenda.
  • Help to ensure the delivery of excellent person-centred interventions with individuals for whom we provide support within the hub.
  • Building management responsibilities for the day to day running of the hub.
  • Help to achieve long term goals by being aware of the Substance use Strategy, working with the Operations Manager to help align the service and service plan to it.
  • Help to achieve the service’s financial targets, by being aware of and contributing to effective financial forecasting, budget development, control and cost effective operations within the hub, operating at all times in line with Turning Point’s financial procedures, reporting progress and escalating concerns to your Operations Manager.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Demonstratable leadership skills and flexible and adaptable leadership style;
  • In depth understanding and ability to operationally and performance manage the functions of the team I lead;
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal/written). Ability to adapt to respond to staff, commissioners/partners and people we support;
  • Strong organisational, time management and prioritisation skills;
  • Ability to remain calm and resilient in high pressure environments;
