Medway Council in Kent is recruiting a Team Manager for the Children and Young People Disability Team. Based at Broadside, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team delivering safeguarding and outcomes for disabled children and young people up to 18, with hybrid working and a clear progression path.

You will hold a recognised social work qualification, have completed ASYE, and be registered with Social Work England.

Competenze

• recognised Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
• ASYE completed.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.

Mansioni

• Lead, manage and motivate a team responsible for promoting the best interests of Children and Young People with Disabilities aged 0–17 (up to 18th birthday).
• Supervise Assistant Team Manager, Senior Practitioner, qualified social workers and Family Support workers.
• Manage court cases, safeguarding and CIN plans and work with multidisciplinary professionals in SEND and Integrated Care Board (ICB).
