Opus People Solutions on behalf of Northampton Childrens Trust have an exciting opportunity for a Locum Team Manager to join their Children With Disabilities Team.

Job Title: Team Manager - Children With Disabilities
Length of assignment: Initially 3 Months
Hours per week: 37 hours
Hourly rate: £42
Location: Northampton
Remote/Office based: Hybrid- 2 days a week in the office

Responsibilities:

• Manage a busy Children with Disabilities service in the West, reporting to the service manager.
• Cover child in need, child protection and Children in care work, from the initial child and family assessment.
• Responsible for the workflow, including allocation of work of the team. Authorising and quality assuring the work of Social workers in the team, including child and family assessments.
• Utilise data to manage the performance of the team and ensure children's needs are being accurately assessed and supported.
• Ensure progression of plans for young people and support social workers with complex areas of work.
• Supervise social workers in line with expectations.
