A leading care services provider in Cheltenham is seeking a Team Manager for their Children & Families Team. The ideal candidate will have strong safeguarding experience and be responsible for leading and developing a team of Social Workers. This role offers a competitive pay rate of £47 per hour, a flexible hybrid working arrangement, and an initial contract of 3-6 months.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Safeguarding Team Manager in Gloucestershire who will have safeguarding experience to lead, manage and be accountable for a team of Social Workers in the delivery of statutory duties and improvement of services to children, young people, and families.
They will have knowledge of court work, CP, CIN and CIC and be experienced in supervising and quality assuring a team of dedicated Social Workers. Working from home and office working is balanced where applicable, individual requests to be in the office and the needs of individuals and teams are by agreement with the manager.
The Team Manager will be responsible for managing a small team of practitioners, you'll embed a high-performance culture by helping your team to continually develop their skills so that they can achieve the best outcomes for our children and their families. Through reflective supervision meetings with your team of social workers, you'll champion their personal and professional growth.
Alongside your role as a people manager, you will also be responsible for the allocation and oversight of children within your defined area, ensuring quality standards are maintained, as well as supporting social workers to identify risk and decide when to take protective action.
You will be SWE registered as a Qualified Social Worker, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK.
