Job summary

Cheshire East Council seeks an inspiring Team Manager to lead a Personal Advisors team supporting Care Leavers aged 16-25, helping them achieve positive futures as they transition to independence.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Social Worker with current registration (Social Work England).
  • Proven leadership experience in children’s social care.
  • Knowledge of legislation, guidance, policy, and procedures relating to Care Leavers.
  • Experience of building strong relationships with a range of children, young people and professionals
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative managing and prioritising own workload under pressure
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • A full driving license and access to a car are essential due to Cheshire East's rural nature

About you:
  • Qualified Social Worker with current registration (Social Work England).
