Job description

Job Title: Children's Social Work Team Manager
Salary:£51,464 - £55,388 per annum
37 Hours per Week
Location: County Hall, Worcester but travel to other locations across county will be required

Team: Locality Safeguarding

The Role:

Our Team Managers play a central role in supporting our social workers to achieve great outcomes for our children and young people. You will join a stable and committed management group, supervising 5 or 6 social workers who hold children subject to Child Protection plans, and may also be the subject ofPLO pre-proceedings and care proceedings, all the way through to a child's permanence plan.. Your team will progress children's plans in a timely manner, ensuring their voice and robust assessment is at the heart of our work.

Worcestershire have an excellent and established management development and training pathway which you will be supported to participate in.

We are looking for candidates with a strong background in safeguarding and Court work, and experience of supervising and supporting staff.
