Sheffield City Council is seeking an HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist to lead the Equipment and Adaptations Team. This role combines people management with professional and clinical leadership to deliver equipment, housing adaptations and independence-focused interventions at home.
You will supervise an OT team, provide professional guidance on complex cases and drive service improvements, working with health, housing and partners to help Sheffield residents live safely and independently.

We are seeking a motivated and skilled HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist to lead our Equipment and Adaptations Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine people management with professional and clinical leadership in a specialist service that enables people to remain safe, independent and living well at home. The role requires a strong occupational therapy background and the ability to provide expert guidance to a team delivering complex equipment, housing adaptations and independence-focused interventions.
As Team Manager, you will lead a team of Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants, providing day-to-day management, professional supervision and clinical leadership. You will support staff to deliver high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring practice is safe, effective and person-centred.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
