Norwich City Council is seeking an ambitious and motivated Occupational Therapy Team Leader to join our growing Health & Housing Improvement Service. This is a newly created role, reflecting the continued growth and development of the service and our commitment to delivering high quality, person-centred support that helps residents live independently and safely in their own homes.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of Occupational Therapists and Assistant Practitioners delivering assessments for disabled adaptations, Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs) and housing-related interventions. You will provide professional leadership, clinical supervision and operational management, ensuring the delivery of high-quality assessments and adaptation recommendations that make a tangible difference to people's lives.
We are looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist with substantial post-qualification experience in housing adaptations. You will have experience of managing complex cases and working collaboratively across health, housing and social care settings. A strong understanding of Disabled Facilities Grants, the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005 is essential.
