Job summary: We are excited to be able to advertise for a Team Lead within the Central & West Network for our Talking Therapies Team in West Lancashire. This is an exciting opportunity for an appropriately qualified and experienced practitioner to consolidate and expand upon their management skills.

We are looking for a highly motivated, pro-active individual who is looking for their next challenge. We are looking for applicants with substantial experience of working within the field of mental health and significant knowledge and experience of working within a Talking Therapies service.

Main duties of the job: The post-holder will work alongside the Operational and Clinical leadership team, providing support to the Service Manager and Clinicians alike within the respective team. A Deputy will also support them along with Senior PWPs. The post-holder will need to be available to work full-time Monday-Friday. There will be an expectation of Hybrid work from base and home.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential:

  • Core Mental Health Profession i.e. RMN, SW, OT or Qualification in an IAPT specific intervention i.e. CBT, Counselling, PWP with accreditation where appropriate
  • Registration/Membership of professional body

Knowledge Essential:

  • Extensive experience in and knowledge of Talking Therapies national and local service requirements and an ability to develop the service to reflect the requirements.
  • Detailed understanding of the key performance indicators in Talking Therapies services and how they relate to clinical practice

Experience Essential:

  • Experience of delivering a Talking Therapies service
  • Evidence of leading and implementing locality level change
  • Demonstrable evidence of improving and developing service and practice
  • Undertaking assessments, risk management and the planning and delivery of Talking Therapies compliant clinical interventions

Skills Essential:

  • Excellent communication both written and verbal
  • Demonstrates good leadership skills
  • Problem solving/decision making
