Job description

We are recruiting for the role of 2 Team Managers within Nuneaton and Bedworth B Family Help on a full-time, permanent basis. One position will be based within the Assessment Team and the other within the Support and Intervention Team.

We are seeking a dedicated Team Manager who is eager to progress. You will have direct strategic and operational responsibility for supervising Social Workers and Family Practitioners. Join our team and experience a busy, energetic, and rewarding environment with staff passionate about representing the voice of young people and ensuring they are central to all decisions regarding their lives.

This role is pivotal in leading a team providing critical support to Warwick Family Help, including:

  • Monitoring and evaluating team performance against key indicators
  • Providing supervision and management oversight
  • Developing policies to enhance service delivery
  • Chairing or attending multiagency meetings
  • Ensuring legislative and safeguarding compliance
  • Leading HR, performance, and staff development processes

Working hours are 37 hours per week with flexible options, generally from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 5pm on Fridays.

Applicants must hold a professional Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. Essential qualifications include MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, CQSW, or Diploma in Social Work. Experience in children's social work, complex cases, and excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills are required.

The role requires fluency in English to provide advice and communicate effectively with the public.
