Matalan is seeking a Team Manager to lead a busy store, champions our values and delivers strong sales and service. You will coach a high-energy team, ensure a great customer experience and uphold VM standards across the store.

You will be responsible for opening/closing duties, managing daily operations, and implementing seasonal layouts while leveraging customer feedback to drive continuous improvements.

Formación

• Experience in a similar role in Fashion or Homeware Retail
• Confident communicator who can engage and motivate others
• Proven leadership experience
• Good understanding of Visual Merchandising (VM)
• Ability to identify sales opportunities and drive new ideas
• Knowledge of operational processes and costs in retail
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change

Responsabilidades

• Coach and motivate team members as part of the store management team
• Run the store in the absence of the Store Manager and use customer feedback to improve the shopping experience
• Drive sales targets and explore sales opportunities

About The Role

As a Team Manager at Matalan you’ll be a key role model in our stores, showcasing our Matalan Values and behaviours whilst optimising sales and leading a high performing, energetic and adaptable team.

You’ll be coaching and motivating team members as an integral part of the store management team. As the store Team Manager you’ll also have responsibility for the running of the store in the absence of the store Manager and will use feedback from customers to create a great shopping experience.

About You

• Have experience in a similar role in Fashion or Homeware Retail
• Be a confident communicator who understands how to engage and motivate others
• Be able to provide examples of leadership experience
• Have a good understanding of Visual Merchandising (VM)
• Have a proven ability to identify sales opportunities and drive new ideas
• Have good knowledge of operational processes and procedures within retail while remaining conscious of costs
• Be able to work under pressure and be adaptable to change
