Job summary

South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking a Team Manager for the Richmond Single Point of Access Team. You will provide operational leadership and line management for the SPA, reporting to the Clinical Manager and ensuring high performance and patient-centred care.

Job overview

A fantastic and exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Team Manager for Richmond Single Point of Access Team, providing operational leadership and management for the team. The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Clinical Manager of the service.

The Single Point of Access (SPA) carries out expert triage and assessment for patients referred to secondary mental health care. They act as the single point in receiving referrals for working age adults across the whole Borough. The service offers assessment for those with a potential serious and complex mental health problem. The team forms part of a planned and integrated whole system approach to care in conjunction with Primary Care mental health teams and Talking Therapy services, Integrated Recover Hubs; Crisis and Home Treatment Teams, Acute Inpatient Care, Early Intervention Services and Specialist services such as Forensic and CAMHS.

This role requires someone with drive, energy and a commitment to high performance standards and the delivery of excellent services.
