Job summary

South West London & St George's Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking a Team Manager for the Richmond Single Point of Access Team. You will provide operational leadership, co-ordinate referrals, and work with the MDT to deliver high‑quality mental health services.

You will supervise clinicians, ensure governance and performance, and partner with local authorities and primary care to drive service development and efficiency. A strong communicator with a proactive, autonomous style is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in NHS or mental health settings.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and governance within a clinical service.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate day-to-day operational processes, caseload allocation and duties.
• Provide supervision on clinical caseloads and ensure supervision for staff.
• Ensure staff adhere to professional codes of conduct and development reviews.
• Implement clinical and corporate governance at team level.
• Maintain financial management within budget and report performance to Clinical Manager.
• Contribute to activity data collection and service improvements across agencies.
