Job summary

Hampshire County Council is recruiting a Team Manager for the Family Help Service in Totton. You will lead a team of social workers and practitioners delivering early, targeted support to families in their communities.

You will oversee safeguarding, manage budgets, build partnerships with multi-agency teams, and drive service development in a hybrid, 9-day fortnight environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and risk assessment.
• Experience in care management and supervising social work practice.
• Excellent leadership, communication and partnership-building skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions in complex situations with competing priorities.

Salary Range: £50,564 - £56,219 pro-rata, per annum (actual salary £30,065 - £33,427 per annum), plus Market Supplement of £9,350 pro-rata, per annum

The Role:

As a Team Manager in our Family Help Service, you'll lead a passionate team of social work professionals dedicated to delivering early, targeted support to families in their local communities.

What you'll do:

• Oversee casework and ensure compliance with safeguarding principles and statutory guidance.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
