We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational Retail Team Manager to join our travel retail business at Belfast International Airport.

The role will be a multi-branded management position covering brands such as Jo Malone London, Tom Ford, MAC, Estée Lauder, and Clinique. It involves managing a team of around 10 Beauty Advisors, leading, coaching, and developing the team to achieve business success, customer service, and operational targets.

The role is full-time, working 36 hours over any 4 days of the week. As this position is at the airport, early shifts start at 5 am and late shifts finish around 7:30 pm. Staff car parking is provided on-site.

What the role entails?

• Leading a team to deliver business success, leading by example, with a passion for retailing and selling luxury products.
• Effective communication skills to discuss sales performance, targets, and manage people. Experience in coaching and training within a retail setting is preferred.
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently, make local decisions, and build strong relationships with the airport retail operator.
• Maximizing sales opportunities by inspiring and motivating the team to deliver excellent service and achieve sales targets.
• Operational management, including maintaining visual merchandising standards and being adaptable to the unpredictable nature of travel retail.

Ideal experience

• Ability to work travel retail hours at the airport, including 5 am starts, evenings up to 7:30 pm, weekends, and during special events in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous management experience within retail, a beauty brand, or a luxury retailer.
• Passion and energy for retailing in the beauty industry.

Working in the airport

• Applicants must have a valid passport to apply for an airside pass.
• To obtain an airside pass, you must provide a checkable 5-year work/education history and have satisfactory security clearance from the airport authority and CRC check.
