We are looking for someone who:

  • has strong curriculum knowledge, particularly in Structured Literacy, Play-Based Learning and Mathematics,
  • is committed to our school Vision of “Connecting with our people, our learning and our place”, and

At Sumner School, people are at the heart of everything we do. Our curious and creative learners, our talented staff, and our supportive whānau and Board make this a truly special place. We believe children learn best when they are happy, engaged and inspired — and we are proud of the rich learning opportunities and positive culture we provide.
