Job description

Role: Team Leader within Water

Location: Grangemouth - Scotland

Salary: Starting rate of £26,000 - 35,000 Based on experience + Van + Overtime

Working week: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week and overtime.

Essential Criteria: Waste Water network Team Leader experience


My client has a vacancy for a Team Leader (Water) to join their expanding operations attached to water sector projects that are Flow Monitor and Asset Surveys.


The Team Leader (Water) will have proven experience in the water network, Water sector. Successful candidates will be a part of a 2 or 3-man team carrying out installation, calibration, and maintenance of Flow and Water Quality equipment throughout the UK. As a result, prior experience of managing or working with a 2nd man, junior or team would be highly advantageous. The installation and maintenance work will require you to enter and work in confined spaces within the waste-water networks, therefore you will need to be physically fit.


Skills set we require for this position:

  1. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to complete paperwork accurately and annotate plans
  2. Excellent problem-solving and accurate record-keeping capabilities
  3. Demonstrable track record of reliability and flexibility
  4. Full UK driving licence
  5. Water experience is essential

This role will involve:

  1. Literate, numerate, and organized along with possessing a good work ethic and meticulous attention to detail
  2. Ability to work away from home for up to 3 to 4 nights a week.
  3. Be able to work flexible shift times and adapt to changing work schedules.
  4. Ideally have relevant field service experience, however, full training will be given to candidates who bring practical skills and a good attitude.

The work is attached to Scottish Water. On occasion, there will be the requirement to undertake stay-away work.
