Job summary

Recycling Lives Services in Preston is seeking a Team Leader to assist the supervisor in daily warehouse operations at Gaskell House, Preston. You will motivate, coach and develop team members, drive health and safety culture, and organise workloads in warehouse 2.

You will delegate tasks, monitor performance, resolve conflicts and ensure accurate data entry. This role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team.

• Delegate and assign responsibilities and tasks to team members
• Monitor team members performance, provide constructive feedback
• Identify process issues with the ability to implement and improve new processes
• Operate any plant onsite that you have been fully trained on
• Any other duties within your capabilities as and when required
• Drive and enforce the importance of health and safety
• Manage and report any issues via the safety culture app
• Manage the Department in the absence of the Supervisor after a full training programme.

Job description

Role: Team Leader

Location: Gaskell House, Preston, PR2

Hours: 07:00 - 17:00Monday – Friday

Salary: £13.66 p/h

The Role:

You will help manage and support the supervisor in the daily operations within warehouse 2 and organise workloads. You will be responsible for motivating, coaching and developing other team members, resolving conflicts and creating a positive can-do attitude with the ability to bring others to your level, drive and create a strong health and safety culture.

Recycling Lives Services provide services for WEEE, Batteries and Packaging compliance as well as total waste management services. We provide UK wide coverage and by working closely with Recycling Lives Charity we deliver positive outcomes for people and planet in all we do. We deliver services that change lives.

Key Responsibilities:
