Job description

Job Title: Team Leader

Reports To: Registered Manager

Location: Chorley

Salary: £15.00 to £16.00 per hour DOE / £37,170 - £39,120 PA (including sleeps and on-call allowance)

Monthly Attendance Bonus: £150

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, 3 shifts per week / 162.50 hours

Sleep-ins: 10 per month

Your Team:

You will be supported by an in-house clinical team as well as the Head of Care, who is an ex-Ofsted inspector.

Career Progression:

You will be enrolled in a fast-track Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership in Health and Social Care for Children. This qualification, combined with paid study leave, will prepare you to excel as a Registered Manager.

Entry Requirements:
  • Genuine passion for working with children and promoting their welfare.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Willingness to undergo training and professional development.
  • DOLS experience is desirable.
  • Positive behaviour management training/understanding.
  • Knowledge of the Children's Home Regulations and Ofsted Requirements.
  • A driving license.
