Job description

Looking for a temporary role that’s more than just a job? Join a Team That Feels Like Family — Team Leader Opportunity in Tamworth (6 month fixed-term contract)

We’re not just hiring a Team Leader (maternity cover) — we’re welcoming someone into a close-knit, supportive care family. If you're the kind of person who finds joy in helping others live fully, and if you're ready to lead with kindness, confidence, and a bit of everyday magic… you might be just who we’re looking for.

You’ll be supporting an inspiring gentleman who lives life on his own terms — active, adventurous, and deeply connected with those around him. He loves taking holidays with his team, making memories together, and enjoying every moment. And the best part? You’ll be right there with him, travel and accommodation included, building bonds that make this work feel like purpose.

A full UK driving licence is essential, because you’ll be helping him stay mobile and engaged — whether it’s popping out for fresh air or hitting the open road.

Let’s make care personal. Let’s make independence possible. Let’s make work… feel good.

What makes this role special?

  • You’ll lead and inspire a care team to provide exceptional, person-centered support.
  • You’ll help build a safe, nurturing home environment where independence thrives.
  • You’ll be a vital part of a team that genuinely cares about each other — and about making life better every single day.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Coordinating rotas and mentoring team members
  • Supporting with personal care, medication, and clinical needs
  • Communicating with family, health professionals, and the Care Manager
  • Sharing in your client’s life, from daily routines to exciting getaways

Shifts:

  • Days: 8am–8pm
  • Nights: 8pm–8am
  • Full-time: 36+ hours/week
  • Weekend availability required

Perks and Support:

  • Up to £14/hour, based on experience and qualifications
  • Fixed-term 6 month contract
  • 36 hour contracted per week
  • Holiday pay, pension, and full specialist training
  • Active Awards programme to recognise your amazing work
  • Refer-a-Friend scheme — up to £1500!
  • Ongoing guidance and leadership support to help you grow
