Job Title: Team Lead - Fulfillment Center Operations

You are responsible for ensuring that you have properly trained people and that their needs are addressed so they can focus on their jobs. You will ensure Amazon policies – including attendance tracking – are implemented and administered fairly and consistently. This includes motivating, coaching, reporting, and providing feedback on associates’ performance – including productivity, quality, and safety - as a means for achieving or exceeding Amazon expectations. The Team Lead will address discipline and/or performance issues for FC Associates, including up to termination. Additionally, you will work in partnership with third-party delivery providers to ensure Amazon standards are met in accordance with service contracts.

We're seeking a Team Lead for our FC operations. In this role, your responsibilities will include:

1. Managing end-to-end daily operations for either one large site, including executing inbound and outbound operations, coordinating workflows, and ensuring timely product shipment to meet customer delivery promises.
2. Driving performance management, including preparing and implementing training and development plans for associates.
3. Continuously improving the delivery process to sustain performance enhancements.
4. Conducting daily 4M and 5S audits at the delivery station.
5. Serving as a stand-in for the Area Manager.
6. Managing day and night shifts.
7. Consolidating information from various sources to determine daily load plan requirements and adjusting operations accordingly.
8. Monitoring routing solutions and making decisions on deliveries outside normal routing matrices.
9. Leading order batching strategies to optimize efficiency while maintaining customer experience.
10. Allocating labor, leading meetings, and directing FC Associates' duties.
11. Performing problem-solving across all areas to ensure smooth operations.
12. Training, auditing, and supporting FC Associates to adhere to Amazon standards and operate equipment/software properly.
13. Ensuring FC associates have the necessary tools and coordinating repairs or replacements as needed.
14. Communicating with internal and external suppliers through all available channels.
15. Reporting and escalating systemic issues promptly to management.
16. Participating in safety and operational excellence initiatives, addressing hazards within the FC.
17. Understanding processes and daily goals, and recommending performance improvements.
18. Performing administrative duties and additional functions as assigned by management.
19. Supporting all areas of the Fulfillment Center as required, including other spokes/centers as directed by leadership.
