The post holder will take the leading role in the day to day team management of the specialist nurse team in leg ulcer and lymphodema, to support case load oversight, quality improvement initiatives, lower limb assessment, planning and implementation of programs of care within all areas of Leg ulcer and Lymphedema. The post holder will work independently within the Tissue Viability/Lymphoedema team/leg ulcer service working within community and hospital settings, providing specialist wound care advice, organising workload, team management, delegation of tasks, promoting clinical excellence with a specific focus on the assessment and management of all aspects of the Leg ulcer and Lymphoedema team. Exercising leadership and judgement to ensure safe clinical practice and high standards of care are maintained to meet service demand within the leg ulcer and lymphoedema team. You will be working within an integrated department and be involved with the current changes and developments within the organisation.
