Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking a Team Leader in Buckhaven to provide first-line leadership for a multidisciplinary care team. This full-time role demands hands-on shift work, development of personalised support plans and a culture of inclusion and improvement.

Applicants should have at least 2 years in social care, staff supervision experience, and a commitment to budgets and targets. A full UK manual driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in social care, including supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours of concern.
• Experience supervising or coordinating staff.
• Working knowledge of budgets and targets.
• SVQ Level 3 in Care (or willingness to achieve it).
• Values-driven approach built on inclusion, respect and empowerment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the service, including rotas, records and quality standards.
• Supervise, mentor and coach staff to deliver exceptional support.
• Develop and review personalised support plans.
• Work directly on shift to build strong relationships with the people you support.
• Promote inclusion, community participation and meaningful opportunities.
• Maintain clear communication with families, professionals and partners.
• Take part in on call duties.
