Team Leader Shelforce
Shelforce is proud to be a leading manufacturer of high-quality windows and doors, including specialist fire doors, committed to excellence in both product and service. A new opportunity has arisen within our production team for a proactive and collaborative Team Leader.
This role reports directly to the Production Supervisor and plays a key part in supporting and supervising the manufacturing and despatch teams to meet production goals and maintain the highest standards in quality and delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervising daily operations in manufacturing and despatch to ensure targets are met within agreed lead times and quality specifications.
Monitoring workflow and delivery schedules, ensuring customer requirements are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner.
Supporting the development of team members by fostering a positive, performance-oriented environment.
Encouraging a ‘right-first-time’ approach by promoting quality awareness and reducing waste or rework.
Promoting a safe, clean, and well-organised work environment in line with Shelforce’s health and safety policies.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the full product range.
Facilitating clear communication across teams to support a cohesive and solutions-focused production environment.
What We’re Looking ForExperience in a production or manufacturing leadership role, ideally within the building products sector.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
A team-oriented approach with the ability to motivate and support colleagues.
A commitment to continuous improvement in both process clear understanding of quality standards and health and safety compliance.
