A prominent NHS Trust in Long Eaton is seeking a Band 7 Biomedical Scientist to supervise technical staff and manage clinical services. You will coordinate research and provide training while ensuring high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will be HCPC registered, possess advanced microbiology expertise, and have excellent communication and organizational skills. Role within University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust (Band 7). This position supervises a technical section within the Department, directing the work of scientific and support staff in the day-to-day analytical provision of a high quality, cost effective service. The role involves providing and coordinating specialist clinical technical services including research and audit, developing the section in line with departmental objectives, and leading training and instruction of staff within the section.
