About the role

The role of Team Leader supports the Store Manager in driving all commercial activities for the store, deputising in the Store Manager's absence. Core responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Store Manager in generating and growing sales to achieve targets.
• Achieving high standards of merchandise presentation, implementing promotion activities and execution of customer eventing opportunities.
• Support the Store Manager with managing team rotas and other people management activities.
• Grow the store team's product knowledge across beer, wine & spirits ranges to drive engagement, delivering high standards of customer service and selling activities.
• Ensuring the store operates in accordance with Adnams' values, policies and procedures and other legislation.

What are we looking for?

As a Team Leader, you will be knowledgeable and friendly with a passion for selling our products ready to deliver the shopping experience our customers come back for time and time again.

Ideal candidates will have previous retail experience, attention to detail and possess excellent communication and organisation skills. Delivering a high level of product advice, assisting in merchandising and maintaining operation standards will be second nature. You will also deliver products to our lovely local customers.

We will provide all the training you need to get you up to speed but what we do ask is that you are a hard-working team member who uses their own initiative and loves being around people.

You will be required to work weekends, be flexible and hold a full UK driving licence.
