Job summary

CVS Group UK is seeking an Outpatient Team Leader RVN to lead a busy outpatient team while remaining hands-on in a fast-paced clinical environment. You will support Oncology and Cardiology services and collaborate with our Dermatologist to ensure smooth procedures and consultations.

You will coach 3 RVNs and 3 PCAs, contribute to governance, and help develop junior colleagues in a supportive, learning-focused culture. A competitive package reflects the leadership responsibility.

Qualifications

• Experienced RVN seeking leadership role while staying hands-on.
• Experience supporting oncology and cardiology services.
• Able to lead a small team and contribute to governance meetings.

Responsibilities

• Support a varied caseload across Oncology and Cardiology services and assist Dermatologist with procedures and consultations.
• Coordinate with the Cardiology RVN to keep clinician diaries running smoothly.
• Provide hands-on support to the Oncology team to ensure calm, compassionate and timely care.
• Liaise with Laboratory Technician, Stock and Dispensary teams to support efficient patient flow and service delivery.
• Lead, coach and support a team of 3 RVNs and 3 PCAs through regular check-ins and 1:1s.
• Contribute to monthly Team Leader and Clinical Governance meetings to shape improvements.
• Support junior colleagues with training and practical guidance as they build confidence and skills.
• Collaborate with Wards and Anaesthesia teams for additional support.
