Team Leader – Residential Children’s Care

We are expanding, Springboard Care Services is actively seeking a Team Leader to join our expanding team and help lead one of our children's care homes with excellence and empathy.

What you’ll be doing:

As the Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of our residential services, ensuring that high-quality care and support are provided to young people while on shift.

You’ll line manage and coordinate a team of Residential Care Workers, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Additionally, the shift pattern for this position is 2 days on and 4 days off.

Your experience and qualifications:

Essential:

? Existing Team Leader experience or an ambitious Residential Care Worker within a residential or social care setting.
? NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent.
? Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and other relevant legislation.
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children.
? Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle emergencies and confident in challenging behaviour and implementing physical intervention, should the need arise.
? Flexibility to work a shift pattern of 2 days on and 4 days off.
? NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or willing to work towards.
