Job summary

A leading childcare organization in Crewe is seeking an experienced Team Leader for their Ofsted-registered Therapeutic Children’s Home. In this role, you will provide nurturing, trauma-informed care to children and young people, lead daily practices, and support a dedicated team. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare and have previous experience in residential settings. Job description

We’re looking for an experienced, inspiring Team Leader to join one of our Ofsted-registered Therapeutic Children’s Homes in Crewe.

At Homes for Support, you’ll be part of a growing team that provides nurturing, trauma-informed care to children and young people aged 5–18 with emotional and behavioural needs.

As a key member of our team, you’ll guide and support your shift team while creating safe, structured environments where children can thrive.

👶 Providing warm, consistent care in line with safeguarding & therapeutic practices
📚 Supporting education, routines, and emotional development
🍳 Promoting life skills – cooking, budgeting, independence
👥 Leading shifts, supervising colleagues, and role modelling best practice
🗂️ Supporting home operations – logs, reports, and regulatory compliance
🤝 Working closely with families, social workers, and external partners

✅ What you’ll bring:
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
