The Team Leader will be based in our ROADS (Recovery Out of Alcohol and Drug Support) service in South Ayrshire, which provides emotional and practical support to clients before they go into a residential rehabilitation service, during their stay, and after they've completed their placement.
All of our staff have lived or working experience of residential rehabilitation. They are closely linked to the local areas and have extensive knowledge of recovery communities, support groups, and wider services. The ROADS team can also offer support to families, carers, and children of individuals who are going to long-term residential rehabilitation. The service is delivered in partnership with WithYou, Recovery Ayr, and Barnardos.
As Team Leader, you will directly report to the Service Manager and collaborate with other Team Leaders, Operations Managers, and our partner organizations to ensure effective communication and meet the service's delivery needs, supporting our clients to achieve positive outcomes.
You will be responsible for collaboratively leading a WithYou team to deliver high performance by meeting targets and KPIs to ensure we provide the best service and improve treatment outcomes, while creating a supportive and inclusive environment for staff.
This role requires excellent leadership skills to work innovatively and confidently. You will support staff in high-performing recovery work, oversee quality assurance and safeguarding, and work within competing demands and tight deadlines.
The position is full-time and permanent, with a salary of £32,000 per annum.
Managing and developing your team to reach its full potential will be key to your success. You will motivate your team to deliver exceptional services and connect quickly with staff and service users, treating them with respect and dignity. As this is a busy team with multiple priorities, being highly organized and able to manage your time effectively is essential.
You and your team will be responsible for delivering against targets, ensuring compliance with all necessary requirements in a social care setting. There will be data analysis and administrative tasks involved, all part of this busy and varied role.
It is essential you have a full driving licence and preferably access to a car, as you will be responsible for transporting clients to and from rehab.
