Team Leader Proposals & Technical Sales
Location: Dumbarton Campus
Hours: 37 hours per week (Flexi-time available)

Talent Media is proud to be partnering with a leading engineering solutions provider with a long-standing reputation in the industrial sector. This organisation delivers high-impact aftermarket services and equipment upgrades to global clients across energy, environmental, and manufacturing sectors.

We are now seeking a confident and commercially astute Team Leader Proposals & Technical Sales to oversee the development of high-quality technical proposals while supporting and mentoring a growing team. This is a key leadership role with real scope to shape customer experience, drive operational performance, and strengthen the companys technical sales offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of the Aftermarket & Proposals team, supporting the department manager and stepping in when required
  • Review and approve technical and commercial proposals to ensure quality, competitiveness, and customer fit
  • Provide expert consultation on retrofit, upgrade, and parts solutions for industrial clients
  • Contribute to strategic pricing, costing, and pipeline management
  • Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring excellent service and solution delivery
  • Coach and develop team members while managing performance, absence, and development plans
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and EHS (Zone 8) initiatives
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and operational teams to enhance service delivery

What Were Looking For

  • A strong technical sales or project management background, ideally in industrial engineering or manufacturing
  • Proven experience developing proposals, leading teams, and engaging with customers
  • Degree-level qualification (or equivalent) in Engineering, Business, or Management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Customer-focused mindset with a drive for improvement and innovation
