A community support organization in Sunderland seeks a Team Leader for its Community Planned Care Services. The role involves leading and motivating support workers, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care to customers in their homes. Candidates must possess NVQ/QCF Level 3 in adult social care and have relevant supervisory experience. The position offers a starting salary of £31,022 and additional benefits including excellent training opportunities and a pension scheme.

Team Leader – Community Planned Care
Sunderland Care and Support is one of the largest providers of social care services within the North East delivering a range of services on behalf of Sunderland City Council. Our mission is to provide customers with the care and support they need to live happy, healthy and successful lives.
We are seeking to recruit a Team Leader into our Community Planned Care Services who is able to encourage a workplace culture based on respect and dignity for those in need of care and support. The service is community based and we provide care and support to customers in their own homes across the city, developing a wide range of skills and maintaining their independence within the city of Sunderland. Customers within our Planned Care service have a diverse range of care needs and require a wide range of support.
We are looking for experienced individuals who can lead and motivate a team of support workers to build a sense of community, encouraging our customers to have a voice, share their views, have choice, and feel at home. Qualified to at least NVQ/QCF Level 3 in adult social care or equivalent, with demonstrable experience of caring for and supporting adults. You will also have experience of supervising and leading in a care setting.
