Job description

Youth Options is expanding, and we are looking for experienced team leaders with a passion for supporting children and young people, leading teams, and delivering quality services to join our growing charity. As part of our new strategy aimed at supporting more children and young people to achieve a better future, Youth Options is recruiting several new team leader positions to help us succeed.   • Hours: 30 to 37.5 hours per week (additional flexible hours considered)
  • Location: Eastleigh or Totton (travel is an essential part of the role)
  • Deadline: Friday 20th June 2025
  • Reports to: Deputy Head of Outdoor Learning
  • Starting Salary: £28,275 - £31,200

You will be responsible for establishing Youth Options Outdoor Learning delivery and leading the team in Eastleigh. Your role involves engaging local schools and education providers to plan, implement, and review nature-based learning programmes and activities tailored to children and young people's needs.

You will oversee all outdoor learning programmes, including content development, maintenance and preparation of materials, resource management, and ensuring programme quality. Additionally, you will line manage the Outdoor Learning Leaders, providing high-quality support and management.
