Job summary

Selco Builders Warehouse in Wimbledon, United Kingdom, seeks a Store Supervisor to lead and develop the team, delivering excellent customer service and strong operational performance across shop floor, yard, checkouts and Goods-In.

You will own the stock lifecycle from receipt through to replenishment, merchandising, pricing, planogram compliance and promotions, while coaching colleagues to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail team delivering high customer service and strong operational performance.
• Proven ability to manage stock lifecycle from receipt to replenishment and sale.
• Ability to maintain stock availability, pricing accuracy, and planogram compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the team to deliver excellent customer service and strong operational performance.
• Oversee day-to-day operation of shopfloor, external yard, checkouts and Goods-In areas.
• Manage full stock lifecycle from receipt through replenishment, merchandising and sale.
• Maintain stock availability and integrity, reduce losses, manage damaged and out-of-date stock.
• Ensure high shopfloor standards: replenishment, pricing accuracy, planogram compliance and promotions.
• Drive sales and profitability through strong operational standards and stock control.
• Coach colleagues to build capability, ownership, and high standards.
• Support branch management and act as senior leader on duty when required.
• Ensure the branch is safe, compliant, well-stocked and welcoming for customers.
• Working hours: 37.5 per week.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading and developing your team to deliver excellent customer service and strong operational performance.
• Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the shopfloor, external yard, checkouts and Goods-In areas.
• Managing the full stock lifecycle, from accurate receipt through to replenishment, merchandising and sale.
• Maintaining excellent stock availability and integrity, reducing losses and effectively managing damaged, discontinued and out-of-date stock.
• Ensuring high shopfloor standards, including replenishment, accurate pricing, planogram compliance and promotional changes.
• Driving sales and profitability through strong operational standards, stock control and effective team performance.
• Coaching and supporting colleagues to build capability, take ownership and deliver consistently high standards.
• Supporting the wider branch management team and taking responsibility for branch operations when acting as the most senior leader on duty.
• Ensuring the branch remains safe, compliant, well-stocked and welcoming for our customers.
• The working hours for this role are 37.5 per week.
