Selco Builders Warehouse is hiring a Store Manager in the Bradford area. You will lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service and strong store performance while overseeing shopfloor, yard, checkouts and Goods-In activities.

You’ll manage stock lifecycle, pricing, merchandising and promotions to maximise sales and minimise losses. The role focuses on coaching colleagues, maintaining high standards, and supporting the branch management team as the on‑duty leader when required.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities
• Excellent customer service and stock control experience

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day shopfloor, yard, checkouts, and Goods-In operations
• Manage full stock lifecycle from receipt to replenishment and sale
• Maintain stock availability and reduce losses while handling damaged/discontinued stock
• Uphold high shopfloor standards, pricing, planograms and promotions
• Drive sales and profitability through strong standards and team performance
• Coach colleagues to build capability and ownership
• Support branch management and act as on‑duty lead when required
• Ensure the branch is safe, well stocked and welcoming for customers
• Working hours: 37.5 per week

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading and developing your team to deliver excellent customer service and strong operational performance.
• Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the shopfloor, external yard, checkouts and Goods-In areas.
• Managing the full stock lifecycle, from accurate receipt through to replenishment, merchandising and sale.
• Maintaining excellent stock availability and integrity, reducing losses and effectively managing damaged, discontinued and out-of-date stock.
• Ensuring high shopfloor standards, including replenishment, accurate pricing, planogram compliance and promotional changes.
• Driving sales and profitability through strong operational standards, stock control and effective team performance.
• Coaching and supporting colleagues to build capability, take ownership and deliver consistently high standards.
• Supporting the wider branch management team and taking responsibility for branch operations when acting as the most senior leader on duty.
• Ensuring the branch remains safe, compliant, well-stocked and welcoming for our customers.
• The working hours for this role are 37.5 per week.
