Job Title: Head of Hospitality

Location: Grappenhall Manor Care Centre, Warrington, Cheshire

Type: Full-time, Permanent, 40 hours/week, £12.44/hour, shifts 0800-1900, alternate weekends

Role Overview

We are seeking a kind, caring, and motivated Head of Hospitality to lead our hospitality team. You will organize and supervise Hospitality Assistants and Care Assistants to ensure a smooth, efficient dining experience for residents. Responsibilities include dining room preparation, cleanliness, meal service, team management, and staff development.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide high-standard hospitality services.
  2. Support and assist visitors.
  3. Communicate any specific resident requirements to the Chef.
  4. Follow cleaning schedules and HACCP procedures.
  5. Ensure adherence to training and complete necessary documentation.
  6. Manage, allocate duties, and supervise the hospitality team, ensuring quality service during shifts.
  7. Coach and develop staff members.
  8. Promote safeguarding and welfare of residents and staff.
Skills and Experience
  1. Experience as a Dining or Restaurant Supervisor is essential.
  2. Previous care setting experience is desirable.
  3. Effective communication skills are essential.
  4. Participation in home-organized activities is required.
