Type: Full-time, Permanent, 40 hours per week

Salary: £12.44 per hour

Shift hours: 08:00 - 19:00, with alternate weekend working

Role Overview

We are seeking a kind, caring, and motivated Head of Hospitality to lead our hospitality team. You will organize and supervise Hospitality Assistants and Care Assistants to ensure a smooth dining experience for residents. Responsibilities include overseeing dining room setup, cleanliness, meal service, and team management, including rotas, training, and supervision.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure high standards of hospitality service are maintained.
2. Support and assist visitors.
3. Communicate any specific dietary requirements to the Chef.
4. Follow cleaning schedules and HACCP procedures.
5. Ensure all training is adhered to and records are properly maintained.
6. Manage, allocate duties, and supervise the hospitality team to deliver quality care.
7. Coach and develop staff through ongoing training.
8. Promote safeguarding and welfare of adults under your responsibility.

Skills and Experience

1. Experience as a Dining or Restaurant Supervisor is essential.
2. Previous experience in a care setting is desirable.
3. Effective communication skills are essential.
4. Participation in home-organized activities is required.
