Job description

Night Shift Team Leader

Join our Night Shift Team as a Team Leader to work closely with the Night Shift Supervisor and Warehouse team, ensuring effective night operations and achievement of business KPIs.

You will support appliance handling, vehicle loading/unloading, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Night Shift Supervisor and lead the team in their absence
  • Work alongside and coach the warehouse team, leading by example
  • Assist in training new starters on Safe Systems of Work and Health and Safety
  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure adherence to safety procedures
  • Work towards reducing damage levels
  • Delegate driver workload, allocate tasks, and process paperwork
  • Support driver packs for outgoing shifts
  • Assist with fleet management to ensure vehicles are roadworthy and compliant
  • Support yard shunting, ensuring site speed and safety regulations are followed
About You
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Build good relationships under pressure
  • Make decisions independently in the absence of the supervisor
  • React quickly to information and solve problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
