Job summary

Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a dynamic Parcel Hub Team Leader to oversee shift operations, ensure safety and compliant working practices, and drive performance across key metrics in our busy mail hub near Northampton.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, plan resources, manage budgets, support performance reviews, and partner with stakeholders to deliver reliable service and continuous improvement in a fast-paced Christmas period assignment.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Parcel Hub Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing shift operations, ensuring safety compliance, managing resources, and driving performance across key metrics. You will lead a team to deliver exceptional service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure risk assessments and safe systems of work are in place and followed.
• Manage shift budgets and drive achievement of performance metrics.
• Plan and allocate resources effectively in collaboration with other managers.
• Maximise automation throughput and manage maintenance escalations.
• Lead and support team performance reviews and development.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and lead change initiatives.
• Act as the Dedicated Person In Control (PIC) when required.

Pay & Shifts

The table below outlines the pay rates applicable for Team Manager roles within our Mail Centres and Parcel Hubs. The rates displayed are payable for the entirety of your shift where the shift description criteria is met. Rates may be subject to change during busy periods. Angard Staffing will communicate any change to your pay rates in advance. Typical shift patterns and pay:

• Morning Shift: 06:00-14:00 - £20.00
• Afternoon Shift: 14:00-22:00 - £20.00
• Night Shift: 22:00-06:00 - £22.00
• Bank Holidays: All Day - £30.00

Important Information

This role is for the Christmas period. Assignments are temporary and will automatically end when the site closes for the Christmas season. The anticipated closing date is 18th December 2026, although this may be subject to change.
