The role | Te tūnga
As a Team Leader - National Data Collection, you will be responsible for managing a team of Data Collection Specialists who are focused on calling and receiving calls from businesses and members of the public to collect data for national surveys. Our National Data Collection teams are focused on providing a great user experience for respondents - one that builds trust, is seamless, convenient, safe and recognises their contribution to Aotearoa.
You will support the day-to-day leadership of a Data Collection team, which includes motivating, coaching, and directing these frontline roles to achieve the best possible outcomes for our customers and suppliers. Developing and maintaining strong links with internal stakeholders who plan our survey collections and develop our programmes and training is key.
Kaimahi in these teams work across a rotational roster covering 6 days of operation each week. This means that there is an expectation within the role to be available to support your team, when necessary, which may include some evenings and weekends.
This role is a permanent, remote work from home role, so a private workspace and reliable internet are essential. However you will need to be based in Christchurch as you will need to attend the Christchurch office on a regular basis for training and support for your team.
