Job Description:

We are looking for dynamic and passionate people to join our NCS team as Team Leaders. As a Team Leader, you’ll lead and motivate a team of up to fifteen young people to complete an NCS Community Experience programme. You will deliver programmes that equip 15–16-year-olds with life skills to transition into adulthood, supporting them from initial application to programme completion. Your role will involve helping young people develop skills to seize opportunities, face the future with confidence, appreciate diverse perspectives, and engage actively in civic life.

You’ll support managers in continually improving programme content and building relationships with external partners to increase programme impact. Your efforts will help deliver on the core objectives of the NCS Community Experience Programmes, including:

  • Developing life skills and supporting independent living
  • Building employability and work-readiness
  • Providing opportunities for volunteering and social action
  • Enabling social mixing of young people from diverse backgrounds
