Job summary

Wiltech Acoustics LTD, now part of Rehlko, is expanding its UK operation in Loughborough. The role leads the fit-out team, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality output. You will set weekly objectives, monitor progress, and maintain ISO9001 and safety standards while guiding material and tooling decisions. Based at our Loughborough facility, the team handles in-house fabrication and assembly of acoustic units.

Qualifications

• Experience leading fit out or fabrication teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of health & safety and ISO standards within manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage the fit out team to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality output.
• Set and monitor weekly objectives and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Ensure team adheres to ISO9001 policies and safety standards.
• Provide expert advice on material and tooling requirements.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching to improve productivity.
• Maintain accurate records (timesheets, holidays, attendance).
• Communicate with Production Team and other Leaders to resolve issues and maintain production flow.

Job description

• Lead, motivate, and manage the fit out team, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality output.
• Set and monitor weekly objectives, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to Wiltech's high standards.
• Ensure team members adhere to ISO9001 policies and safety standards.
• Provide expert advice on material and tooling requirements, ensuring the team is fully equipped for each task.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to improve team productivity.
• Maintain accurate records, including timesheets, holiday requests, and attendance tracking.
• Communicate with the Production Team and other Team Leaders to resolve any issues and maintain an efficient production flow.
  Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Electrical Fitter, ideally within fabrication, enclosures, or industrial equipment manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of health & safety and ISO standards within a manufacturing environment.
