The department and team

The main purpose of the Team Leader (Grade 6) is to lead, motivate, develop, and encourage our team to deliver the daily production targets to an agreed standard.


£15.72 per hour + Bonus + Benefits

  • Ensure adherence to rules, procedures, and standards in managing your team.
  • Identify and facilitate ways for team members to develop.
  • Deliver team briefings and clearly communicate performance.
  • Ensure clear lines of communication.
  • Complete all necessary documents and ensure due diligence and traceability documentation are fully maintained.
  • Maintain departmental hygiene standards in line with external and internal audits and requirements.
  • Adhere to company colour coding policies regarding clothing and equipment.
  • Continuously improve technical and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure compliance with business H&S policies and maintain accurate H&S records.
  • Participate in departmental risk assessments to eliminate accidents, report and investigate all accidents thoroughly, and promote safety awareness.
  • Support environmental initiatives by minimizing waste, segregating waste appropriately, and seeking ways to reduce the company's carbon footprint.
  • Drive reductions in customer complaints by focusing on achieving right first time.
Essential
  • Good standards of English and Math
