Job summary

Vestiaire Collective group seeks a Warehouse Operations Lead to oversee daily team activities and ensure smooth product flow through the facility. You will lead and motivate the team, coordinate tasks, and uphold safety and security standards on the warehouse floor.

You will own operational procedures, act as the reference for your team, and support onboarding and training to develop versatile employees across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an operational team in a warehouse environment.
• Strong planning and prioritisation skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety and security standards in warehousing.

Job description

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of your team and ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of products through the warehouse.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supporting an operational team, ensuring a high level of engagement and performance.
• Managing the team's daily activity, including allocating tasks, monitoring progress and managing priorities according to operational needs.
• Planning and organising activity to ensure the right balance between workload and team capacity, including managing holidays and absences.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, including health, safety and security standards across the warehouse.
• Being the owner of operational procedures and ways of working, ensuring they are consistently followed by the team.
• Acting as a technical and operational point of reference for your team.
• Supporting the onboarding and training of new team members, while developing versatility and cross-training within the team.
• Maintaining strong communication within the team through a visible and hands-on presence on the warehouse floor.
• Monitoring operational performance and escalating any issues, incidents or dysfunctions to your manager, contributing to the implementation of appropriate corrective actions.
