Permanent, Full time (47.5 hours)

Join Public Sewer Services as a Lining Operative Team Leader and be part of a team that's been delivering top-notch drainage services for over 34 years, offering fast, eco-friendly solutions. Specialising in cutting-edge trenchless repairs. From robotic cutting to cure lining, you'll work with innovative technology that keeps roads, gardens, and driveways intact.

If you have experience in either Steam Curing, Hot Curing, or Pipe Welding, a HGV Licence would be a bonus, then this could be the role for you!

There will be heavy lifting and lots of physical work, including confined spaces and working in extreme weather conditions, so you will need to be willing to get stuck in!

What You'll Need to Bring

• Full UK driving licence
• Experience working in a manual role eg. Groundworks, construction, drainage etc.
• CSCS Card
• Proven experience in a leadership role within the utilities or energy industry, with a strong understanding of utility operations and regulatory requirements.
• Emergency First Aid at Work Level 2 (minimum)
• Confined Spaces- City & Guilds (desirable)
• EUSR SHEA (water - multi-utility as required). - (desirable)
• NRSWA (new roads and street works act) - (desirable)
• Health and Safety Awareness training / certification

What You'll Be Doing

All aspects of drainage including but not limited to:

• Carry out CCTV works including pre and post CCTV surveys
• Carry out high pressure jetting works on pipes
• Carry out robotic cutting works where required
• Install patch liners and full length liners including ambient cure, hot cure, LED, UV where required.
• Carry out re-rounding, pipe bursting and slip lining works whereby existing pipe is replaced by pushing or pulling through new pipe where required
• To carry out manhole chamber/renovation works including removal and reinstatement of benching, infiltration sealing and drilling/injection of resins and spray lining of manholes/chambers where required
• Learn new Trenchless techniques where required
• To accept delivery of plant and materials and check inspection, calibration and conformity certification.
• Working away will be required.
