Job Description:

Location: York, North Yorkshire

Salary: Up to £30,000 per year

Report to: Registered Area Manager

This role is suitable for someone with experience in health and social care in a supervisory role, preferably within learning disabilities or Autism.

The primary aim is to ensure that assessed care, developmental, and support needs are fully met. The role involves developing positive relationships, creating a homely environment, and promoting independence through daily living skills and tailored support.

Key responsibilities include:

• Running monthly Support sessions
• Conducting monthly team meetings
• Providing required training to staff
• Completing staff rotas and managing annual leave
• Performing monthly audits (medical, financial)
• Coaching, role modelling, and overseeing staff development
• Ensuring environments meet high standards
• Supporting residents in leading active, meaningful lives
• Maintaining compliance standards
• Building relationships with families and professionals
• Working as a senior team member in York District
• Reporting safeguarding issues and incidents

Requirements:

• Full UK driving license and own car
• Willingness to travel for training, including occasional overnight stays
• Achieved Level 5 in Health & Social Care or willing to complete it
• Minimum Level 3 qualification

The Services include:

• A staff team of 16
• Service 1: 4 gentlemen with varied needs, including complex needs and independence
• Service 2: 2 single-occupancy homes for women
