Job summary
BAND 7 WARD MANAGER / TEAM LEADER Postnatal ward LGI
12 months secondment to cover maternity leave - 0.4WTE
An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, extremely motivated, resourceful individual with established midwifery, and leadership experience to join our Maternity team.
Working as part of the senior midwifery team, the post holder will contribute to the future development of the maternity service through participation of development initiatives.
As a Ward Manager, you will have excellent clinical and communication skills, an ability to inspire and support staff and work in partnership with women, their relatives and the multi-disciplinary team in the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of seamless care. You will also involve other agencies and practitioners in care planning to meet complex needs of women and their babies.
