A local authority council is seeking a Team Leader – Locality Manager to oversee community care services in Mid Yell, Scotland. This full-time role involves providing professional advice, managing resources, and supporting strategic decision-making while ensuring compliance with statutory obligations. The position includes a relocation package and encourages flexible working arrangements.
The Team Leader – Locality Manager Community Care reports to the Executive Manager- Community Care Resources and is a member of the service management team. The Team Leader provides information and advice to the Executive Manager to support service and directorate decision taking and the provision of support to Elected Members in determining the Council’s overall strategic objectives and priorities.
Manage the locality based community care resources and the customer focussed, efficient and effective delivery of services in accordance with the Council’s values, objectives, targets and statutory obligations. This includes the following functions: residential and support services for adults.
Provide professional advice to the Executive Manager with respect to the development, planning and delivery of services to ensure the Council fulfils all statutory requirements and implements relevant policies in respect of these services.
